According to the Department, investigators discovered evidence that pointed them towards Joshua Richard-Wallace Johnson. The officers searched Johnson’s home.
The evidence found in the search was directly linked to a bank robbery. This included money.
Johnson, as of Tuesday morning had yet to be charged in any official way and was being held at Dakota County jail. The court date for his appearance is Wednesday.
Inver Grove Heights Police Department Chief Melissa Chiodo explained that due to the rapid and efficient creation of a strategy response plan by their investigations team and strategic response unit, the suspect had been apprehended, and they were able to successfully resolve the investigation, as well as recover the funds stolen.
